hall

The hall / pavilion was built on the site of the old stables, and hence sometimes referred to as the stables or barn. It was home to The Grange restaurant for many years. Today, it’s a charming reception hall which comfortably seats 120 guests (formal dining) or more for informal/casual cocktail style receptions.

A little more about its history…

  • It has long been a venue for celebrations of all kinds of occasions.
  • Liz and Eddie Delves opened it as a restaurant in the 1980s, with regular Sunday luncheons making fine memories for many locals and visitors.
  • Many marriages throughout the decades include previous owners, Kirsty Pongratz and Jason Scott, who bought The Grange for their wedding – that’s commitment and a wonderfully romantic story.
  • They went on to hold unique functions at the Grange including the Plonked wine festival in 2018.
  • And as a restaurant – first by the London-trained cordon bleu chef, Eddie Delves, and several others to follow including hatted chefs, Huw and Renee Jones whose elegant cuisine can now be enjoyed at Pambula’s Banksia Restaurant.
